I have a 5thgen also, but mine is a hatchback, I honestly have never heard of our VSS being a common problem. but yeah just swap it out. btw that EJ1 needs lower jaja :p woohoo for 5 generations :] and yes it does..im gonna prolly put some rims on mine when i get some money
